Robbery Syndicate Busted By Police After Successful Operation In Ogun. Photos

A five-man armed robbery syndicate whose stock-in-trade was to attack motorcycle warehouses, has been arrested and paraded by the Ogun state police command.



The syndicate was said to have first visited Amolad Enterprises Motorcycle warehouse, opposite University of Ibadan (UI) and later moved to another of such warehouses in Iwo Road.
There, it was gathered that, they overpowered the night guard, tied him before gaining entry into their main target, using various house breaking instruments.



The suspects, whose names were given as Nurudeen Odutola, 43 (ring leader) ; Olawuyi Saheed, 45; Kehinde Lateef, 31; Opeyemi Ganiyu, 33 and Sola Adegbite, 48, made away with over 30 motorbikes from the warehouse but were sniffed out of their hideouts by crack detectives, who also recovered 22 of stolen motorbikes.

Other suspects paraded included a motor driver, Solomon Boniface Okon, who absconded with his master’s Honda CRV Jeep from Ibadan and was tracked down in Akwa-Ibom, even as the stolen vehicle was recovered.
